If you're looking for a way to meet new people, to be discipled on your journey with God, and to develop a deeper connection to Hope Church, then Life Groups are for you.
Life Groups are small, informal groups that meet every week in people's homes. They are great place to connect and make friends, they're a place to support each other and celebrate together.
Life Groups meet throughout the week at various locations in Lytham, St Annes and Warton.

September Courses
Preaching Course
The purpose of this course is to develop an understanding and appreciation for communicating God’s Word.
We'll look at different preaching styles, communication techniques, and practical tips on preparing a message.
Everyone who attends the course will be expected to put what they've learnt into practice by preparing and delivering a short sermon to the group, who will then provide helpful feedback!
Duration: 6-8 weeks Cost: £10pp to cover course materials
Note: Coming on the course doesn't mean you will be asked to preach on a Sunday. There are a lot of factors that feed into that, however this is a great opportunity to have a go and see if it's something you'd like to explore further.
The Bible Course
The Bible Course helps you see how the books of the Bible are part of one big story. Using a unique storyline, the course will show you how key events, books and characters fit together.
The course combines video teaching, group discussion, personal reflection and daily readings.

Prophecy Course
We may not all be called to the office of a Prophet, but anyone who is saved and receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit can minister in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And we are all called to move in the gift of prophecy. The purpose of this, according to 1 Corinthians 14:3 is to build up, encourage, and console the Church.
In offering this prophecy course, we are giving an opportunity to develop in the spiritual gift of prophecy, whether that is through dreams, visions, interpretations, words of knowledge or however else God speaks to you. We will learn what prophecy is (and isn't!); the purpose of prophecy in today's world, and how to recognise it; to understand how God speaks to us, and how to correctly communicate what He is saying.
The course will be a safe space to discover and grow in your prophetic gifts and you will be given opportunity and encouraged to move in those gifts, identifying the ways that God speaks uniquely and directly to you.
In 1 Corinthians 14:1 Paul tells us to 'Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.'
